As I understand it, you are getting exactly the functionality you require... you just don't understand the extra two error reports. Do I understand correctly?
If so, then my previous reply should sort you out, and you really really should not trap this error (unless of course you re-raise the exception in there with 'RAISE')!

If I don't understant your requirements then please accept my apologies...
