Backup and Recovery [message #366050]

Please Help,

I simply want a script to backup the entire db and then a script to recover until a certain time i.e. to recover a db at the point before a row was deleted. I have tried several but it looks like Oracle applies the redo everytime and therefore the row still gets deleted?. Can anyone kindly help.

Let me know whether you are running the db in archivelog mode or not...!!!

Thanks for the reply Angela but I have since got my scripts to work by running them though the backup facility on Enterprise Manager.
