Recently we are trying to move OAS onto a shared environment and our main concern is the security.Since its on the shared we dont want outsiders to access our portal, any ideas?

What do you mean by "shared environment"?

RAC Environment, all the different departments on RAC, so there are chances of security comprimise

Application wise, the security/authentication is controlled by OAS with its own methods. That should be okay.
But if the environment itself is shared physically, you have to trust your sysadmins. There is nothing much to do with the backdoor wide open Smile.
Also, did you mean RAC as in Oracle Real Application Cluster?
I do not understand the need. RAC serves only the database.
Not OAS.
