I need a free/open source tool for exporting different kind of data sets to oracle. Can some one help me......... Iam working on ubuntu 8.4 LTS

What sort of data sets?
Have you looked at sqlloader?

I know sqlloader, but i want a simple tool that i can use to export data into oracle database, it may be in csv,tab deliminated,xls or any other format

So export in CSV format and import the data using SQL*Loader (after having created the table(s)).
