When i query v$log_history table on 2 daifferent database of same version. I found that one DB return me just 14 rows (i.e data from 17 june 2010 till 30 june 2010) and the same query on oher database returned me data from apri 2010 till 30 june 2010. The query was fired on 30 june 2010.

My question is : Is there any limitation on v$log_history, or is there any retention period.

PS: The dba was not bounced and its a Production database.
