Dears all,

I am cloning source database of 9i on target machine
when it completed up 70% it give errors.
actually i am using application 11i with database 9i.
when i check my v$datafile i found these three datafile
with values of
UNRECOVERABLE_CHANGE# UNRECOVERABLE_TIME NAME
5965393029349 6/29/2010 12:03:02 AM /roddata/a_txn_data02.dbf
5965393026407 6/29/2010 12:01:41 AM /roddata/a_txn_data01.dbf
5965389237343 6/25/2010 12:01:28 AM /proddata/a_txn_data03.dbf

and all other data files having 0 unrecoveralbe_chagne#.
as i know that some unrecoverable changes occurs on it.now how i chage it to zaro as other.as may database is runing in archiveing mode.and this is occuring when database in archiveing mode.

i only need to know that how i recover this changes.or did i recreate control file.

i need yours respectfully advice and help

What errors?
How are you cloning? RMAN?
Post the script you are using.
Copy and paste the exact session with output.

i simeply run perl adcfgclone.pl dbTier

First Creating a new context file for the cloned system.

Clone Context uses the same port pool mechanism as the Rapid Install
Once you choose a port pool, Clone Context will validate the port availability.

Dear Mahesh ,

I studyed that like but i didn't got any information which helpful for me.
i think i am getting error due to UNRECOVERABLE_CHANGE# of datafiles.
if i recover this this error.i think cloning will be ok.as every day at the same time this
UNRECOVERABLE_CHANGE# fires.
if possible please brief me regarding it.
