Hi,

I recently took a class that featured SQL*Plus to access an Oracle 10g database. We designed and built tables and ran queries. The class has ended, but I would like to continue studying independently. Is there a service available that provides practice space in an Oracle database for a monthly fee? I do not own a PC that has sufficient resources to run 10g Express Edition and other applications simultaneously.

Your responses are appreciated.

KF

Oracle RDBMS can be shutdown when it is not needed to be up.

Look into Apex.
You can request a workspace that Oracle hosts for free.
While it does not offer all goodies in an local installation,
It is pretty good. Especially for beginners.

Edit:
While some (like me) will miss SQL*Plus like environment,
most will not.
If you are looking to write some serous SQL/PL SQL, you need a decent editor other than SQL*Plus.
