Backup through Batch file. [message #507808]

Dear,

exp system/abc@c file=c:\dmp_%date%.dmp log=c:\log.txt owner=xyz

I run this script through batch file its working.Problem is dump file showing with this format C:\dmp_wed.dmp.I want to date format like that C:\dmp_18052011.dmp.

Please help me for date formatting.How I can add date format in a batch file.

1/ export is NOT a backup
2/ There are many scripts in "Utilities" forum (where this topic should be and not in "Backup" one) that depends on your OS and shell. Search for them.

As Michel said, the solution is only a few clicks away, on this very OraFAQ forum. There are other suggestions, but only if you search for them.

So your OS is Windows, you'd find the same thing here and in our "Windows" forum.
Next time, provide your OS name and version, and Oracle one as well, with 4 decimals
