Hi All,
i have a question regarding the RMAN feature "duplicate database". I have this arch: a RAC istance (two nodes), and on ASM i have 4 Disk Groups:
+DG1/Datafiles, +INDEXES/Datafiles, +FRA, +UTILITY
On the phisical standby i'd like to create, i have only 2 DiskGroups:
+DG1, +FRA
It is possible to use db_file_name_convert during clonig for converting
+INDEXES/Datafiles into +DG1/INDEXES/Datafiles ?
In other words, I MUST have the same number of DiskGroups between primary and standby ?
