Experts,

I have 6 node RAC system with 6 node dataguard.
I am going to upgrade the database from 11.1.0.7 to 11.2.0.4.
So I have to install new software for 11.2.0.4 in both physical as well as standby.
My question is:-
After i install software:-
Do i need to run @$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catupgrd.sql on both physical as well as standby
Or standby would be automatically upgraded once i run this script on physcial?
Do i need to have any special concerns since upgradation would be on done on standby as well/

There is an appendix in the Data Guard Admin Guide that takes you through the process.

This is a massive upgrade, you know. Are you aware of all the changes to clusterware from 11.1.x to 11.2.x? You'll need to reconfigure everything. Be sure to convert from admin managed databases to policy managed.
