Hi,

Oracle target DB :- 8.1.7.0, Size:- 600 GB
RMAN Catalog DB :- 8.1.7.0

Netbackup : 3.4, with TWO tape drives

scenarios
---------
1. Took backup of target DB thru RMAN by opening TWO 'sbt_tape' channels. Backup went fine twice.

2. Now restoring by setting teh TWO channels again which results in following. My guess is that it is beacuse of using more than one channels for Restore. My question is that
a. Is there any limit for number of channels for RESTORE thru RMAN.? because i have'nt seen more than one channel in any document for restore purpose.
b. If there is no limit. Then could some one please help me in how to define the channel limit to successfully restore my DB.

Thank you in advance.
