hello!
we have an windows 2012 server with oracle 11gAS and oradb11g. we detected that the server system partition gets empty of space because oracle is writing a lot of files (like s70s, s8a0, s1v8 etc.. and a lot of *.part and *jfr files in subfolders) to windows\temp. can someone explain me why oracle do this and how can i change it?
thanks for help!

No Oracle software spontaneously writes files.
Oracle software only responds to requests made to it by client requests.
The listed file types have nothing to do with Oracle DB installation, by default.
I have no direct experience with 11gAS, I don't know if these file might originate from it.

A search in the documentation seems to indicate at least the *jfr files might be coming from "Oracle JRockit Flight Recorder". ( Which I have never heard from before. )
