When trying to view tables with an xml type column I receive the message/ error no orageneric11 in java.library.path.

I'm not sure what to download to get this .dll.

open command window
invoke sqlplus
issue the SQL that generates the error

COPY the whole session & then PASTE is back here so we can really see what you do & how Oracle responds

I'm not using sqlplus. I'm only using SQL Developer. However, some more details that may be important are, in tools -> preferences -> database -> advanced, both Use Oracle Client and Use OCI/Thick driver are checked. The client version is 12_1.

I am right clicking the database I want to view and selecting Schema Browser. Selecting the correct schema, then the table, then the data tab. In the messages-Log area the message appears, no orageneric11 in java.library.path
