Dear Sir

Due to the error problem I was having

FRM-10256: User is not authorized to run Form Builder Menu

Using SQL Developer, I ran the script FRM60SEC.sql

New run menu, but Oracle form gives me an error

ora-01775 looping chain of synonyms in forms 6i

Could you please guide me on how to enable and disable menu items
What is the procedure for assigning the role in the menu

There is no relation between this error and Forms.
This error means that you have a synonym that points to a synonym... that points to one synonym of the list.

Hi,

first of all. 6i? That was developed by the dinosaurs. It's been out of support ever since they went extinct. Smile

(Seriously, it has been out of support for more than 10 years. You should upgrade to a new version by any means possible).

Second, chances are that you used the wrong user for the script. Perhaps sys or another dba-user instead of system?

Turn on a 1775 event to see in the alert log what causes the error. Then troubleshoot from there.
