While executing a report(Based on a VIEW), I given Parameter value which is not in the matching in DB, So It should return No Data but the query is Hanging(Running), What might be reason ?

May be , you need a little tuning.
Is there any indeces an base table?
is it been utilized by your query?
post your execution plan.
