Hi,
i have on a win2000 professional box, two oracle homes 8.1.7 and 9.0.1. When i invoke rman command, by default, rman of 9i opens so i have to change to 8i oracle home but the rman of this version does not run from command line and i have to go in bin folder and double click on the rman executable to get rman. how to solve this problem?
on another box with redhat 7.1 , i have again two homes one for 8i and other for 9i, here rman for 8i starts with ./rman command after i have cd'ed to the $ORACLE_HOME/bin folder for 8i. why?
thanx in advance folks!!!

1.- For the first question, you should change your environment variables (my computer --> properties --> advanced tab --> environment variables)
and place first the ORA8i path!

2.- For second question, you should add to your profile:
$PATH=$PATH:.

that's all!

Hope this helps!
