Hi All,
I would like to know Oracle Database version required to implement Oracle Streams?
Is Oracle version 9.2.0.4 must to implement oracle streams?

I tried with oracle version

Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
PL/SQL Release 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
CORE 9.2.0.1.0 Production
TNS for 32-bit Windows: Version 9.2.0.1.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 9.2.0.1.0 - Production

But didn't manage to complete necessary steps to install oracle streams.
Is it due to lower version of Oracle Database ?
Can some one confirm this ?
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Vidyanand

Hi,

Oracle Streams is available from 9.2.0.1.0, but you need the 9.2.0.4 patch-set (or later if available) to fix most or the issues. Besides this patch-set, you may also need the following patches:

- Patch 3023858 for the Streams OEM GUI and Oracle Management Server; and

- Patch 3197856 - MERGE LABEL FOR BUGS 5 STREAMS BUGS ON TOP OF 9.2.0.4

Best regards.

Frank
