hi,

I have installed Oracle 8i (8.1.7) + forms 6i rel 2 + forms server (6i rel 2)+ webDBlistener (from FORMS 6i rel 1 since this is not present in the rel 2 CD)for single machine configuration on windows2000 proffessional.

I have configure the virtual ports as described below in the http://icarus:80/WebDB/admin_/listener.htm page, section(directory mappings):-

[[ACTION]] Please configure the following virtual path with your web listener: /forms60java for physical directory D:orantFORMS60java.

[[ACTION]] Please configure the following virtual path with your web listener: /dev60html for physical directory D:oranttoolsweb60html.

[[ACTION]] Please configure the following virtual path with your web listener: /dev60cgi for physical directory D:oranttoolsweb60cgi.

The registry settings are also right.

When I try to run the test.fmx form from the browser, it opens file download page for ifcgi60. then
prompting me to open file from location or save to disk.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Carlton
