Hi
can you please help me in knowing if there
Is a mapping between Exceptions and the oracle Error code

for example say ORA-1403 error(there will be an FRM- error code for this ) implies exception when data_not_found

similarly i need the exception stmts for the error code pertaining to

a. column data too long
b. inserting null into a not null column

is there some document which gives me a mapping pertaing to the above oracle/Frm error code and exceptions

Hellow,
I can not clearly understand ur problem. But I think, ERROR_TEXT, ERROR_TYPE and ERROR_CODE may slove ur problem. For more about these pls. see built in help.
