Hi,

I am trying to setup Oracle Designer 6.0.3 on my Win 98 PC. I am using Personal Oracle7 Release 7.3.3.

When I tried to build repository for Oracle Designer, I got the following error message.

I checked index and table tablespaces. Evertyhing seems OK.

Can you please help me?

Thanks in advance...

1.have u run catexp.sql in ur database

2.Go to hkey_local_machine/software/oracle/des2_71 or des2_70 or like that, in the registry and find out the value of execute_import and excute_export parameter and let me know

hi guys,

I explored the problem and would like to share it.
Designer 6.0 looks for Personal Oracle 7.3.4 at least.
im using an older one than that
Oracle 7.3.3..
by the way, how can i find oracle 7.3.4?
almost impossible, right?
