I may be trying to do something that Oracle Reports is incapable of doing - I'm trying to get a function value to display in the heading of a report. I keep getting a "wrong frequency" error message when I go from the Layout Model to the Live Previewer. The only parameter that the function takes in is a Reports User Parameter. Please try this before making any suggestions, because I have tried a lot of different things I thought would work. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

shereen, create function outside of any group in dmodel.
reference with FIELD in heading through &function.

get back if you have any problems
