I need your advise actually I am a pl/sql developer, I am working in Oracle application 11.0 and I also know Developer 2000(forms), Now I want to swich to oracle DBA. I want to learn DBA . What you suggest. I want to start from scratch. I do not know nothing but have some idea. So, Do i need to take some Certification exam if so, then whcih way should I start. Please guide me.
your help will be appreciated.

your problem seems like that of mine.I am a C programmer and trying to get into DBA ..
I am planning to take the OCA exam that consists of intro to SQL and database fundamentals-I.This is the first exam or the starting point.OCA(Associate) level is level one.Then you can go to OCP and OCM.Go to
http://www.oracle.com to get more on the certifications.It is better to get the certifications..
