Dear All,

1)
how to take RMAN backup directly on tape (unix,NT), if library required where to get and install.
Inspite of allocating channel of type sbt_tape it gives error????

2)
If anybody of you can help me in finding some free documentation on Internet for Oracle 8i RMAN.

There is a quite helpfull guide on the net for all features of Oracle 8i (and also 9i)
Search for Oracle 8i master index .Good Luck!
