SIRS,
I HAVE ORACLE 8.1.5 IN MY SERVER. I AM TRYING TO BACKUP DATABASE THRU RMAN IN A REMOTE WINDOWS 2003 SERVER. BACKUP IS ALMOST OVER , HOWEVER, I GET SOME ERRORS. I FEEL IT IS COMPATIBILITY ERROR. HOW TO OVERCOME THIS ERROR. WILL THE BACKED UP FILES BE SUITABLE FOR RESTORE? KINDLY GIVE ME A SOLUTION. THE COMPLETE LOG IS COPIED BELOW:-
