i took coldback of my database at 7:37PM on 20th july.
i dropped a table at 7:40PM on 20th july.
i want to get back that dropped table in 10g (without using flashback) by incomplete media recovery.
so i took backup of my database again at 7:45PM on 20th july.

i restored all datafile and log files as of 7:37PM backup and retored control files as of 7:45PM. After mounting the database, when i try to open the database it is giving an error that

recovery session cancelled due to errors
log1 of thread 1 is not current copy
online log 1 thread 1: '/home/oracle/mydb2/log1.log'

But when i restore 7:45PM logfiles and try to open database with resetlogs option its opening.

My question is i need to restore the logfiles of 7:37Pm or 7:45PM.

why u r restoring ur log files. Stay with the latest log files & control file.
Open the database in Mount state n give the command--

> Recover database until time '2005-07-20:07:37:00' ;

And then open the database in Resetlog mode.

Is it that, what u wanted.
