hi guyz,
i've come accross a problem, i've a backup tape, which contains cold backup taken from a novell server, which was running oracle database,
pl. can anybody guide me about getting data from tape on a windows or unix system?

you can copy the data from tape to disk first, then recover from the disk files. If you want to know how to manage the tapes, perhaps it's out of the range of Oracle's ability.
