Hi All,
We are having standby database for our production database.But without stoping the standby we have restarted the production system.So now the production's archive log files are not applying to the standby dabase.What are the procedure to make it synch with the production.

Pls explain .

hi,

First find out on which database user are connected and doing transaction.

once your standby database is change to primary one than primary must be converted to stand by.

Note:- Your hardware for standby and primary database must be same in real live production environment.
