how to restore the database after re-install windows system using rman backup??
the database install path may be different from previous.

As the operating system itself was reinstalled, the oracle software installation was wiped out isn't it? So first you will need to reinstall oracle software and upgrade it to its current version etc(if applicable) and then restore the database.

yes! just as u said,the same database version, i want to know how to restore the database if database installed in different path,how about the steps?
