Good Morning,

We have a couple of oracle 9i databases running under solaris 8.0. However the decision is to update the os to solaris 9. does it affect the oracle. Are there any compatibility issues to be verified for Oracle before updating the os. Any help, advice, suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks.

Download "InstallPrep" from Metalink - it will tell you if your Solaris9 meets minimum requirements. Aslo see the certification matrix for 9i database on Metalink.
