Hi.
Please explain me what exactly these lines do

alias setprompt 'set prompt=`hostname`:"${cwd}>"'
setprompt # to set the initial prompt
alias cd 'chdir \!* && setprompt'

Well i dont know what cwd is ?
Or do you mean pwd ?

My shell is c shell, i can see the content of the variable cwd as current working directory

echo $cwd
