HI.

please tell me Can the logical standby be used for both read and write? The Peoplesoft query tool requires updates of teh People Tools tables. Can the reporting database be used to
accomodate teh Oracle/ Peoplsoft query tools?

Thanks.

You can't do anything.
A forum is somewhere people answer to what they want, when thay want.
Noone owe you an answer.

Urgent question are not welcome and you likely wait for longer than "normal speed" question.

Although the logical standby database is opened in read/write mode, its target tables for the
regenerated SQL are available only for read-only operations.

You can submit an SR thru Metalink. Even then, you'll be more than likely to wait for a response.
