In Toad Escape of "&" Character [message #271839]

Hi Masters,

I am using Toad. In some of my sql statements i have to use
"&" character for comparision of Fields.
For Example :-

SELECT * from table where col1 = 'F&A';

It asks values for "A". I want to escape this situation.

Pl. help me how to handle in Toad.

Senior Member

* Right click in the editor and uncheck the "Prompt for substitution variables" option.

* Menu view-->toad options: go to the "execute/compile" node and uncheck the "Prompt for substitution variables" option.
