Sorry Toad / barbara, i didnt post my query clearly before. hence reposting..

****

We load a particular table everyday. Approximately,
the table will be loaded with 50000 records everyday.
we take the whole database backup once in a month only.

Since this table is loaded everyday we planned to
take backup of this table alone by creating a copy of it and move it to diff location evryday.

So, say today table has 50000 records and i have created a copy of it.Tomorrow it will be 100000
and so on...so i want to drop the prvious day's
copy and created a new one....

Hope i'm making myself clear.

Raj

Hi Raj,
you can also add a field for current date while taking data to the new table. can't you ?
