Sir,
I have learnt PL/SQL in oracle 9i. I need a small project (back end only) so that i can master all the concepts so far... It will be great if u can advice some good project, with the required synopsis or provide some web link which has the same. I shall be highly grateful.

Search this website for 'tutorial'. Search the Oracel website for 'tutorials'. Look ta past issues of Oracle magazine. Perhaps download the Oracle Database 10g / 11g and just work through the samples that are contained in it.

Dear All,
i think u misunderstood me. First of all, I need PROJECTS just to get a good knowledge of all the concepts. If possible a real life scenerio, otherwise, even small ones will do. Just need synopsis for the same and some guidance (only back end)

Secondly, it is for PL/SQL in 9i only.

Yes i do understand that when i say 'only back-end', it does sound weird, but i am planning to do only SQL, PL/SQL and then go for SAP.

Hence, i just wish to do minor projects to strengthen my grasp on the concepts.... Exceptions, composite data types, cursors, exceptions, procedures, functions, packages, triggers, files, etc.

I believe Bayross' book is by BPB publications... I searched for the same on the net, and found 4 relevant titles. Can u help me by giving me the exact name of the book.... which u're talking about.

I would say, go back to the top of this page and read the topic. You can make believe you were the original poster, then all the answers will now pertain to you. QED.
