Dear Group Members, This is Bala from Singapore

I create a Static record group with 2 column.

While i try to assign that values to one database item and another to another non database item in a database block, "FRM-99999: Error 10905" message displayed,

I am able to type the <block Name>.<item name> in the return item box in that LOV wizard.

I don't know, what is the problem.

Help me please

Thanks in Advance

I am Waiting for the solution.

Make sure that the data type of the receiving field is the same as the data type of the column in the record group. Make sure that it is wide enough. Did you do a Ctrl-k (Compile) or a Ctrl-Shft-k (Compile All) before doing the Ctrl-t (Generate)? If you are woking with Forms 6i or higher you MUST do a Ctrl-Shft-k (Compile ALL) most of the time you make a change to your form.

The item name along with block name should not be more than 30 characters.
