A table is a collection of computer data that is organized, defined and stored as rows and columns. In non-relational systems, a table is called a file.

A table represents entities and relationships.

CREATE TABLE t1 (c1 NUMBER PRIMARY KEY);
CREATE TABLE t2 (
        c1 NUMBER PRIMARY KEY,
        c2 NUMBER REFERENCES t1(c1),
        c3 VARCHAR2(30) );
